  57. REGISTRATION OF THIS COPY:  If you do not need the many benefits that accompany
  58. the Extended and Deluxe Support  registration plans,  you can obtain permission
  59. to use MODEM in your  own application  (even if it is a commercial product)  by
  60. providing us with your name and address.  You can do this by mail, enclosing $2
  61. to cover our acknowledgement letter,  or by calling us (voice) at 514-345-9578.
  62. Use of MODEM for more than 45 days without registration is prohibited.

  64. EXTENDED SUPPORT:  When you order an extended support copy,  you receive a disk
  65. containing the current latest version of the program, with the Extended Support
  66. extensions (/I and /L  parameters, plus COM3 and COM4) plus  assorted  freeware
  67. and shareware.   You also get special access on our support BBS,  plus one hour
  68. of free phone support ($35 per hour afterwards).   Extended Support is a single
  69. user license.

  71. DELUXE SUPPORT:  Includes all the benefits of  Extended  Support,  plus instant
  72. registration service  (if paid by money order),  3 hours  of free phone support
  73. (normally  charged  at  $35/hr after the first hour), complete site license for
  74. your address, notification of fixes and upgrades for one year, our twice-yearly
  75. newsletter, and one free upgrade, shipped to you automatically.  You can easily
  76. SAVE more than $70 with the Deluxe Edition.

  78. VOICE SUPPORT RESTRICTIONS:  Voice support  does not  cover  training  in  DOS,
  79. Turbo Pascal or batch programming.  Return calls (if you request them)  will be
  80. billed separately.

  82. INSTANT REGISTRATION SERVICE:  (This service is available  only  on orders paid
  83. by money order)  When you order using our Instant Registration Service, we call
  84. you to let you know that your   registered copy   of  MODEM  is  available  for
  85. download  from our BBS.   You can then  dial in at up to 9600 baud (v42bis) and
  86. start downloading  within a few seconds  of  making the connection;  no lengthy
  87. sign-up is necessary.  Our BBS can be reached at 514-345-8654.

  89. PURCHASE ORDERS:  We accept purchase orders from Fortune 500 companies, govern-
  90. ment offices (municipal, state, provincial, national),  nationally disseminated
  91. print, radio and television media, and major educational institutions.

  93. SOURCE CODE:  If you purchase the  source  code,  it may not be divulged to any
  94. other party.  You may, however, distribute the TPU (Turbo Pascal Unit) files it
  95. creates,  provided you clearly indicate that Pinnacle Software is the source of
  96. the essential code for the TPU's, giving our address and phone number.

  98. CUSTOMIZATION:  MODEM can be  customized  to your requirements.   Modifications
  99. are performed at a rate of  $35/hr.  This rate is negotiable,  or may be waived
  100. entirely, depending on applicability of your modification to other customers.
